Product Overview

Tempered (or Toughened) glass is a type of safety glass processed by controlled thermal or chemical treatments to increase its strength compared with normal glass. During the manufacturing process, the glass is heated to approximately 720 °C, creating balanced internal stresses that provide exceptional durability. When broken, it shatters into small, blunt fragments instead of sharp shards, significantly reducing the risk of severe injury.

1 Temperature Resistant

Tempered glass features excellent thermal stability, capable of enduring high temperature differences ranging from 150°C to 200°C.

2 Shock Resistant

It is 3 to 5 times stronger than standard glass and offers superior resistance to bending and impact.

3 Safety Focused

Designed to crumble into small granular chunks when broken, ensuring maximum safety for human users.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes tempered glass safer than regular glass?
Tempered glass is processed to have balanced internal stresses. When it breaks, it shatters into small, relatively harmless granular fragments instead of sharp, jagged shards, which significantly reduces the risk of injury.
How much stronger is tempered glass compared to standard glass?
It is approximately 3 to 5 times stronger than normal glass in terms of impact resistance and load-bearing capacity.
What temperature range can this glass withstand?
Our tempered glass has excellent thermal stability and can endure rapid temperature changes and differences of 150°C to 200°C.
What are the available thickness options for customization?
We offer a wide range of thicknesses from 3mm up to 19mm to suit various industrial and commercial applications.
Can you provide custom shapes and printing on the glass?
Yes, we provide extensive processing options including full or partial color printing, logo printing, hole drilling, and custom shapes like rectangle or circle stepped glass.
How is the glass protected during shipping?
We use robust packaging solutions including wooden crates and carton boxes to ensure the glass arrives safely at its destination.
