Tinted Blue Color Channel U Glass

This tinted blue color U glass is a decorative and classic architectural material, tinted directly on the production line. It allows light to pass through while effectively limiting clear view, providing a perfect balance of privacy and illumination.

U glass is produced through calendaring and forming, named for its "U" shape cross-section. It features excellent light transmittance, heat insulation, and high mechanical strength. Widely used in urban construction, it reduces the need for light metal profiles compared to standard glass.

Available options include Normal clear, tinted blue, tinted green, low iron, or Ultra Clear. Customized sizes and patterns are available to meet specific project needs.

The tempering process for channel glass involves custom three-dimensional tempering ovens. Tempered U channel glass is three to four times stronger than annealed glass, with compression levels reaching 10,000 psi or greater.

When broken, tempered glass fragments into small, harmless pieces (dicing), significantly reducing the risk of injury from sharp shards.
