Since the Colts moved to town in 1984,the team has been a major success. Peyton Manning,one of the greatest quarterbacks in history,has won many titles.

It’s a Big Ten City
The Big Ten is expanding its presence on the East Coast,with the conference opening a new office in New York City to provide expanded service and coverage. The new office will house conference staff who work in branding,championships and communications. The current conference offices in Rosemont will continue to be staffed by senior staff and Conference Commissioner James Delany.
Madtown is a perennial favorite among college towns,a lively city that thrives on fall Saturday football games,State Street shopping and delicious brat hazes. The central campus of the university is framed by beautiful lakes and an emerging culinary scene. The university has an international reputation for research and has made a major contribution to Indiana’s economy. Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame and the National Collegiate Athletic Association Headquarters are located in the city. The downtown area includes the Lucas Oil Stadium (2008),home to the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts,and Bankers Life Fieldhouse (1999; formerly Conseco Fieldhouse),which houses the NBA’s Indiana Pacers.
