Consists of five layers: glass substrate, transparent conductive oxide layer (TCO), cadmium sulfide (CdS) window layer, cadmium telluride (CdTe) absorption layer, and back contact/electrode layer.
CdTe is a direct bandgap material with excellent absorption. Performance in early morning, evening, or hazy conditions is significantly better than crystalline silicon cells.
The temperature coefficient is about -0.21~0.25%/ºC, roughly half that of crystalline silicon. It generates more power in high-temperature environments.
A 1μm thickness can absorb over 90% of visible light. Theoretical photoelectric conversion efficiency is approximately 28-29%.

Specializing in cadmium telluride (CdTe) and perovskite thin-film solar cells, focusing on BIPV and photovoltaic-powered consumer electronics. Products feature customizable shapes and light transmittance for seamless integration with architectural systems.
