U-profile glass is a specialized architectural casting glass. Formed in computer-controlled smelting furnaces, it maintains excellent quality and precision.

Its high mechanical strength allows for installation in high-rise buildings, often saving the structure from requiring extra vertical and horizontal underpinning. The tempering process for channel glass involves custom ovens specifically designed for three-dimensional shapes. The heat treatment raises compression to 10,000 psi or greater, making the glass three to four times stronger than annealed glass.

In the event of breakage, tempered glass "dices" into small, harmless fragments rather than sharp shards, significantly reducing the risk of injury.
