Product Description

Professional building glass manufacturer and supplier, featuring a 20,000m² non-dust workshop. Certifications include ISO, CCC, CE, SGCC & ANS. We provide high-quality glass and mirrors tailored to customer requirements.

What is Tempered Glass?

- Tempered glass is produced by heating annealed glass in a furnace to 620 degrees centigrade. It is rapidly cooled with jets of cold air, inducing compressive stresses to the surface while the center remains tensile.

- It is 5 times stronger than annealed glass of the same thickness.

- Stronger resistance to thermal breakage than annealed or heat-strengthened glass.

- In case of breakage, the glass disintegrates into small, cubical fragments that are not threatening to humans.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is tempered glass stronger than regular glass?
Yes, tempered glass is approximately 5 times stronger than annealed (regular) glass of the same thickness, offering much higher resistance to impacts.
What happens if tempered glass breaks?
When broken, tempered glass shatters into small, relatively harmless cubical fragments instead of jagged shards, significantly reducing the risk of injury.
Can I cut or drill tempered glass after it is processed?
No. All cutting, grinding, and drilling must be completed before the tempering process. Attempting to cut tempered glass will cause it to shatter completely.
What is the maximum size of glass you can produce?
We can produce glass sheets up to a maximum size of 15000mm x 3660mm, suitable for large-scale architectural projects.
Is the glass resistant to temperature changes?
Yes, our tempered glass is designed to withstand abrupt temperature changes of up to 220 degrees Celsius.
What applications is curved tempered glass used for?
Curved tempered glass is ideal for modern architectural curtain walls, revolving doors, showcase displays, and spiral staircases.
