Product Overview

Tempered (or Toughened) glass is a type of safety glass processed by controlled thermal treatments (high temperatures up to 720°C) or chemical treatments to increase its strength compared with normal glass. The process creates balanced internal stresses, giving the glass its superior strength. When broken, it shatters into small fragments instead of sharp shards, significantly reducing the risk of severe injury. It is widely used in vehicle windows, glass doors, tables, diving masks, and cookware.

Main Advantages

Temperature Resistant

Tempered glass features excellent heat stability, capable of enduring high temperature differences ranging from 150~200°C.

Shock Resistant

It is 3 to 5 times stronger than standard glass and offers exceptional curve resistance.

Safety First

Designed to shatter into small, blunt fragments rather than sharp pieces, ensuring human safety upon breakage.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes tempered glass safer than regular glass?
Tempered glass is processed to create balanced internal stresses. When it breaks, it shatters into small, granular fragments instead of sharp, jagged shards, which minimizes the risk of injury.
What are the thermal properties of your tempered glass?
Our glass has high heat stability and can withstand sudden temperature changes or differences of 150°C to 200°C.
What customization options are available for UV printing?
We offer both partial and full color printing, as well as logo printing. The technology used includes high-quality UV and digital printing processes.
What is the range of glass thickness you can provide?
We can manufacture tempered glass with a thickness ranging from 3mm up to 19mm, depending on your project requirements.
How is the glass protected during transport?
Products are securely packed using wooden crates and carton boxes to ensure they remain intact and scratch-free during shipping.
Can you produce glass in specific shapes other than rectangles?
Yes, we can process glass into various shapes, including circles, rectangles, and stepped glass, with customized edge polishing and hole drilling.
