Technical Features

01. Product Structure Consists of five layers: glass substrate, transparent conductive oxide (TCO), cadmium sulfide (CdS) window layer, cadmium telluride (CdTe) absorption layer, and back contact/electrode.
02. Good Weak Light Performance CdTe is a direct bandgap material with superior absorption. Performance in early morning, evening, or cloudy conditions is significantly better than crystalline silicon cells.
03. Low Temperature Coefficient Stable performance at high temperatures. The temperature coefficient is about -0.21~0.25%/ºC, roughly half that of crystalline silicon cells.
04. High Conversion Efficiency Optimized spectral response compatible with the solar spectrum. Only 1μm thickness can absorb over 90% of visible light, offering high development potential.
05. Power Generation Stability No light-induced degradation (LID). Performance remains stable in humid climates as absorption does not overlap with water vapor peaks.
