🏗️ Structure & Key Features

Product Structure: The cadmium telluride thin-film solar cell consists of five layers: glass substrate, transparent conductive oxide layer (TCO), cadmium sulfide (CdS) window layer, cadmium telluride (CdTe) absorption layer, and back contact/electrode layers.

☁️ Excellent Weak Light Performance CdTe is a direct bandgap material with high absorption. Its performance in early morning, evening, or hazy conditions is significantly superior to crystalline silicon cells.
🌡️ Low Temperature Coefficient With a coefficient of -0.21~0.25%/ºC, it generates more power in high-temperature environments compared to traditional silicon cells.
⚡ High Conversion Efficiency The theoretical efficiency is approximately 28-29%. It absorbs 90% of visible light with a layer only 1μm thick.
🛡️ Superior Stability Does not suffer from light-induced degradation. The power output remains stable even in humid climates as it does not cover water vapor absorption peaks.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the primary products offered?
We develop and produce cadmium telluride solar cell modules, perovskite cells, BIPV architectural solar glass, and smart household photovoltaic systems.
Do you provide customization services (OEM/ODM)?
Yes, we provide full OEM/ODM services based on customer requirements, supported by a highly skilled R&D team of over 20 professionals.
What certifications do your products hold?
Our products are certified by CE, TUV, and CQC, and our manufacturing processes are ISO9001:2015 certified to ensure global quality standards.
What is the advantage of CdTe over crystalline silicon?
CdTe glass offers better performance in weak light, a lower temperature coefficient (losing less power in heat), and lacks the light-induced degradation typical of silicon.
What kind of technical support is available?
We provide responsive support including customization drawings, installation diagrams, remote technical guidance, and on-site guidance by technicians.
Is there a Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?
No, we do not have an MOQ. We aim to bring green energy solutions to all scales of projects, from residential to industrial.
