CdTe is a direct bandgap material with superior absorption. Performance in early morning, evening, or hazy conditions is significantly better than crystalline silicon cells.
Temperature coefficient is about -0.21~0.25%/ºC, half of crystalline silicon. It generates more power in high-temperature environments.
Theoretical efficiency of 28-29%. It absorbs 90% of visible light with a thickness of only 1μm.
Does not suffer from light-induced degradation. Spectral absorption is unaffected by water vapor, making it ideal for humid climates.
Our enterprise specializes in the R&D and production of cadmium telluride (CdTe) and perovskite thin-film solar cells. Focusing on BIPV (Building-Integrated Photovoltaics), our products feature customizable shapes, dimensions, and light transmittance for seamless integration with modern architecture.
